Over 6+ years, I helped WattTime build the first independent, satellite-based system to monitor power plant emissions globally—now tracking 1000+ facilities across continents. By developing AI-powered detection systems and establishing global validation frameworks, I enabled the Climate TRACE coalition's groundbreaking emissions transparency work presented at COP28 and COP29. Three peer-reviewed publications established scientific credibility, while bridging remote sensing and machine learning domains kept a lean team focused on fundamentals over trendy architectures—compressing years of potential exploration into focused iteration.

Over 18 months, I helped CytoVeris advance their OncoSIGHT AI platform from prototype to peer-reviewed validation, achieving 82% sensitivity and 91% specificity in detecting breast cancer from label-free autofluorescence imagery. By establishing rigorous data quality processes, triaging ML approaches to focus on viable methods, and creating feedback loops between model errors and data cleaning, I accelerated their path to clinical validation and regulatory engagement. I freed internal resources to focus on device integration while driving the ML research agenda—moving from raw images to published results in a capital-efficient manner that positioned the company for regulatory conversations.
